GEOS Welcomes their newest staff member
GEOS Boston welcomed their newest staff member this March, Tiffanie Calisto!
At the beginning of March GEOS Boston was getting their students ready for Boston's big March celebration that is St. Patrick’s Day, or “St. Patty’s Day,” as Bostonians refer to it. Going over the importance of Saint Patrick's Day in Boston, along with cultural significances, and the types of activities that individuals partake in on this day, got the students excited to celebrate it. Boston held their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday, March 14. The amazing parade filled with bagpipes, step dancers, and local bands got South Boston ready for the celebration that would follow.

“Meike Riedel is a strong, hardworking student with an infectious laugh and a great attitude. Her thoughts and contributions add a lot of depth to the overall class discussion, and she is always eager to ask questions so she can improve her English skills and cultural knowledge. Congratulations, Meike!”
This past month at GEOS Boston, our dedicated level one students have been meeting together for extra sessions in a focused study hall. This once-a-week meeting gives our level one students a chance to practice some of the more difficult items in their syllabus, as well as master some of the basics that need more attention. Their teacher, Teacher, Alexi Nowell refers to this group as "English Therapy." Where students can get some help and feel at ease!
COMING SOON!!! Red Sox Nation
Spring has arrived and that means that the Red Sox are going to be in town!! We will be getting the students excited and ready to wear their Red Sox gear and cheer on the home team. Students will see the Sox take on the Rangers on April 20th at the infamous Fenway Park. Testimonials Meike Riedel, Level 6 I attended GEOS for six weeks and had a great time! I have been applying for jobs in the United States and wanted to improve my English for interviews. The classes are small so everyone has the possibility to participate with ideas. My grammer and vocabulary have improved very much after the six weeks. The staff at GEOS is very nice and patient. Not only in class, but other situations. The staff is interested in your life and take time if you need it. I liked the friendly atmosphere and the useful lessons I have learned. My experience was very positive. I met very interesting people with different backgrounds and reccomend this school to everyone who wants to learn English language and meet nice people.
Studying at GEOS has been a great experience for me! I have improved my English and I met wonderful people from around the world.
