Information for international students needing an F1 visa and transfer students:

You will need the I-20 form from GEOS in order to apply for a student visa. In order to receive an I-20 from GEOS you will need to:

Are you an F1 student currently in the United States? If so, then you will need to download our Transfer Form. Bring this form to your current school's student advisor and ask them to return the form to us by fax. Submit a statement from your bank or your sponsor's bank that indicates that you have the financial support for the period of time you wish to study. Your financial statement must be written in English and dated within the last six months. (The total amount must equal the total tuition, enrollment fee, and the estimated cost of living in the Boston area. We estimate this at $1000 per month.)

Submit the non-refundable $100 application fee* plus an $800 (one month's tuition) tuition deposit. You must register for a full time course and the balance of the tuition must be paid by the first day of class. If you are unable to obtain an F-1 visa or if you cancel your course on or before the first day of class, your tuition deposit ($800) will be refunded in full.

ACCOMMODATION AND AIRPORT TRANSFER We offer two types of accommodation, Homestay and Residence. We have an outstanding homestay program at our school. Homestay includes a private room and half board and the families are located in the Greater Boston area. Residence accommodation is either single or double rooms, without board, at a residence in Boston.
